  • My first impression of this game was that it was boring and trivial, as I then believed a game without any real action and competition would never appeal to me
  • Even though it was not as intensive and competitive as other games, one of the main advantages it holds over other games, in my opinon, was definitely that it catered to many people, regardless of sex or age
  • However, one of the main disadvantages I feel this game has is the repetitiveness, as there is only a certain number of words before it runs out and some of them have to be repeated, and only after a few months I started growing bored of it
  • This would be unlike other games which have other variables that keep the game interesting
  • Nevertheless, it has provided a great time of pleasure and bonding and would definitely recommend this game to those looking for a family bonding or just a bonding activity in general

Charades have been and still is a great family game, catered to people of all genders, races and ages. Since the introduction of this game to my family, I have had great times of fun, laughter and family bonding, and thus would like to share my opinions and experiences of this game with everyone.

My first impression of this game was that it was boring and trivial, as I then believed a game without any real action and competition would never appeal to me. To make

things worse, the images on the board was full of things which I disliked, such as photo booths and film rolls. However, my Dad at that point in time saw the family entertainment value behind the game and decided to purchase it.

This impression immediately changed when my family and I started to play this game. Even though it was not as intensive and competitive as other games, one of the main advantages it holds over other games, in my opinon, was definitely that it catered ...

      • to many people, regardless of sex or age. This then has truly allowed my family to bond together through hours of time spent with each other. In addition, it is rather enjoyable to play as well, as it involves the guessing of a word/a string of words through the actions of the player. This has not only served as an entertainment outlet but a method of traning one’s mind.

However, one of the main disadvantages I feel this game has is the repetitiveness, as there is

only a certain number of words before it runs out and some of them have to be repeated, and only after a few months I started growing bored of it. This would be unlike other games which have other variables that keep the game interesting.

Thus, in conclusion, this game has many positive points and several negative ones. Nevertheless, it has provided a great time of pleasure and bonding and would definitely recommend this game to those looking for a family bonding or just a bonding activity in general.
