  • The martinis crafted at this bar are nothing short of amazing, and the majority of them replicate candy bars and other sweet treats
  • I unfortunately forgot the name because they do change the seasonal beers, but the bartenders are quite knowledgeable and can help guests find something that suits their tastes
  • One of the more interesting options is the cherry coke martini which is served with red sugar on the rim and a few Coca Cola gummies
  • They have some great lunch specials, so I'd recommend checking it out before 7pm if you're still skeptical

This is the place to go if you’d rather drink your dessert. The martinis crafted at this bar are nothing short of amazing, and the majority of them replicate candy bars and other sweet treats. This cozy bar isn’t just for martini-lovers either; Jen’s and Friends is one of the premiere locations in the area for craft beer, offering upwards of fifty different beers, some of which change seasonally.

The atmosphere in Jen’s is small and cozy, making it an ideal spot for small groups of friends to relax and have a drink. The bartenders are fantastically personable, and

if you come in more than once or twice, they will recognize you which makes me feel very welcome.

Although most don’t realize it, Jen’s serves a number of craft beers (mostly in bottles) that the staff is quite knowledgeable about. I tried a pumpkin flavored ale that the bartender offered me in a glass with a rim of brown sugar because she said it would taste a bit like pumpkin pie. She was absolutely right! I unfortunately forgot the name because they do change the seasonal beers, but the bartenders are quite knowledgeable and can help guests find ...

But the real star at Jen’s is the martini. They offer about a hundred different sinfully sweet options that you will barely taste the alcohol in. Until it sneaks up on you hours later, of course! My personal favorite is a mixture of vanilla, cream and honey from the Savannah Bee Company. It’s delicately sweet, and it has nice body to it. They usually top it with a bit of whipped cream which mixes perfectly with the creaminess of the martini. One of the more interesting options is the cherry coke martini which is

served with red sugar on the rim and a few Coca Cola gummies. The Scooby Snack is also one of my personal favorites because its the only martini on the menu that uses whiskey. With chocolate, caramel and whiskey mixed together, it’s kind of like Snickers with a kick.

Jen’s and Friends is my favorite bar in Savannah for a relaxed night out. They have some great lunch specials, so I’d recommend checking it out before 7pm if you’re still skeptical. And remember to ask the bartenders because they are great about helping you pick something based on your preferences.
