Episode 5 of season 8 of CSI New York might just as well be the most touching and most intriguing episode on the show so far. I have lost count on the number of twist in the plot before arriving at the correct chain of event and the criminal behind the murder. The ending was anything by anticipated. I loved it.

At the beginning of the episode we get to witness the unique bond between two

brothers. One is a high school basketball start, the other is an ex-basketball player who have coached him. The older brother is in prison for a felony related to drugs. When he gets out he is looking forward to two things- to be involved again in his brother’s life and the see his beautiful girlfriend who patiently waited for him.

The story takes a twist when 3 weeks later the girlfriend is found dead in ...

      • her apartment. All clues point to Hank, the older brother, committing a crime of passion. She has been stabbed 7 times and Hank’s name is written in her own blood on the wall.

But as the team continues to investigate the case- both on the forensic and logistic aspects- some things do not seem to work out. It looks like things are much more complicated than it first appeared. After many turns and twists in

the story, while different clues are processed, they finally find the murderer.

In addition to the murder investigation, Flack gets to reconnect with his sister. It is not easy, but Flack pushes through.

In addition to the great story line, the episode star guest is Scott Lowell who only gets better and better as an actor. I really love him, I think that he is definitely and underrated actor. And of course he does a good job.
