I just saw the movie Billy Madison again after the longest time. This is one of my Adam Sandler movie favorites because I like slapstick comedy and this has a nice storyline.

This movie is about Billy Madison (Adam Sandler) who is an heir to the big company that his father has built. He is a rich, brat and spoiled man who have spent all his years wasting his life away through partying and not finishing school. Eventually, when his father challenged him to finish his studies to be able to handle the company, he was compelled to do anything, even going back to school and finishing high school in days; otherwise, his rival will get the

company instead. This movie has guest appearances from the late Chris Farley which added to the pizzazz of this movie. This movie is funny and heart warming because Billy gets to join kids from elementary school to high school. Billy learns to get along with kids, befriending them in the process. There are lots of comedic scenes where the kids seem to be smarter than he is. He meets a nice teacher who helps him in the process of passing the grade levels until he finishes high school. I like how their relationship developed from Billy being a brat as he was and being thrown out of the classroom, and afterward Miss Veronica Vaughn (Bridgette Wilson) helped ...

      • him into remembering stuff for his history class. She is the one who helped him to really push himself to prove that he is a worthy person, mature enough to handle his company. Otherwise, his rival, Eric Gordon (Bradley Whitford) will be the one who will handle his dad’s company.

Adam Sandler does his usual angry-brat-spoiled mode and eventually gets the same treatment from his high school classmates who even tried to bully him. He then realizes how his kid friends are even better, real people than the shallow ones in high school. He even makes amends with the other people he has hurt back in high school. Steve Buscemi has a cameo appearance in this movie too!

        Eventually,

he reaches the end of this challenge and concludes into a good ending. I like light comedy movies. If this is your type, this is a good, funny movie with a lesson in the end. This is well-written, the actors are funny enough and I laughed a lot watching this film! Even if this movie starts off as quite nonsense, it has an ending that makes it worthwhile to watch. It showed how someone who is an underachiever can turn out to be a successful person as long as he tries. For those who like comedy movies, this is funny enough and enjoyable to watch. This isn’t for everyone though because of profanity, sexual innuendos and mature content.
