The romance comedy that was first on TV in the year 2009 called “The Breakup Artist” may not be considered one to go down in history, it is a very cute and adorably funny film that can really be entertaining. With the great group of actors and actresses that came together to make this film a little down to Earth and not so far out in the middle of left field, it was difficult for me to find this film anything but enjoyable.

In this film, the main character Britney (played by Amanda Crew) has a breakup company where she is paid to do the dirty and heartbreaking

job of breaking up with peoples boyfriends or girlfriends. It’s an honest days work for Britney and she really does enjoy her job. When a new man comes into her life however, courting her and making her fall in love with him, he sends a breakup artist one her! Thus revealing his rival break up company and also that the entire relationship with Britney was all a sham. Britney swears off all men and has to eventually let her two friends go from her company because she can’t afford to pay them their salaries anymore. Every one of her clients are going to the rival break up ...

      • company instead, which is coincidentally also a dating service. But, when Britney finds a boy, Mike (played by Ryan Kennedy), that used to date her sister Ashley until Ashley wanted Britney to break up with Mike for her, things really begin to look up. Mike says he will pay Britney a good chunk of money if she will help him to get her sister back. But, the road to getting more money for her break up company leads her to a true romance and the happy ending she never knew existed.

Like I said, this film was not something that was any kind of masterpiece, but it was

the film that is very cute and enjoyable. The actors created a wonderful romance comedy that is perfect for any day of the week when you are in the mood for a love story. A love story that is very much a comedy as well.

Overall, the film was definitely something that I would watch again. I laughed out loud on the funny parts and awed at the cute moments as well. If you are a fan of romantic comedies, or of any of the actors in this film, then you should definitely find out about renting this film or turning to the channel that it will be on for TV veiewings.
