  • House Burning Down is a song by The Jimi Hendrix Experience which appears on their record Electric Ladyland
  • One thing I like about this track is that while the verse of the track sounds to be a bit light and restricted (Not in a bad way), the chorus has a very free feeling to it so these two parts of the song certainly act as nice contrasts to each other
  • Overall, I think that House Burning Down really is not a difficult song to get into at all for a couple of different reasons

House Burning Down is a song by The Jimi Hendrix Experience which appears on their record Electric Ladyland. The song opens up with an incredibly dramatic yet emotional sounding lead guitar solo from Jimi Hendrix before transitioning into the bulk of the song with a groovy rhythm and energetic vocal delivery from Hendrix.

Though Hendrix’s voice was never something to be praised by really anyone, I must admit that the energy he put into his vocal performances

nearly always made up for his tone and I couldn’t imagine this band with someone else singing lead.

One thing I like about this track is that while the verse of the track sounds to be a bit light and restricted (Not in a bad way), the chorus has a very free feeling to it so these two parts of the song certainly act as nice contrasts to each other.

Another thing I like about this track ...

      • is that there is no shortage of excellent lead guitar work throughout the song which is obviously something to take advantage of when you have Jimi Hendrix in your band.

Overall, I think that House Burning Down really is not a difficult song to get into at all for a couple of different reasons.

For one thing, those who like the more traditional rock and roll sound should be satisfied on this track as the band dedicates

a pretty fair amount of this track to a typical song structure and just an energetic rock track.

On the other hand, those who really enjoy instrumental passages which have heavy psychedelic tones with them will most likely also enjoy this track because Hendrix goes through three lead guitar solos throughout the song and the final is quite long.

Personally, I like both of these sounds so this song basically covers all my needs and definitely not a track to ignore.
