  • I found the story of the game not that interesting as the story of the fist one, the main quest seems to lack completeness and heaps of side quests are constantly being thrown your way
  • There is lot of information, some of it irrelevant in my opinion, and so many other details
  • The main plot is supposed to be about the Qunari invasion and the problem between the mages and the templars
  • They took too little time developing it, and I believe the result is not the best game this year
  • The fighting is supposed to be a bit like the regular RPG type and a bit like something else but I think this part was better done in the first game

Dragon Age II is a fantasy RPG game which focuses on the fate of one (wo)man who is destined to save the world from all the other threats that came after the infamous Gray Warden had slain the Archdemon in the first game.

I found the story of the game not that interesting as the story of the fist one, the main quest seems to lack completeness and heaps of side quests are constantly being thrown your way .They are entertaining but don’t really seem as part of a whole picture. There are still choices to be made and I love that because freedom in games has always been interesting for me.

Once again, if you play the game thoroughly you will find a

lot about the history and the world itself. It is almost like a fantasy book, but one with scattered chapters. There is lot of information, some of it irrelevant in my opinion, and so many other details. The main plot is supposed to be about the Qunari invasion and the problem between the mages and the templars. I didn’t quite feel it, though, Bioware have had better games. They took too little time developing it, and I believe the result is not the best game this year.

The characters and their life stories are interesting, but less “sociable” than in Dragon Age: Origins. You can develop your relationship with them, but the talk options are limited and they seem to lack attitude. You can ...

      • still build a great party for your Hawke, but the possibilities are not infinite.

The graphics are good but they could have been better - there are some little things that annoyed me: for example, that the hair of your character is still looks glued to their head and never moves. The women are also a bit better than in the first game, but there is more work to be done, in my opinion. Yet the world itself is beautiful, it is obvious that the developers have worked on the scenery. I can talk about this a lot, but don’t worry - the game is still relatively good even though it has some flaws here and there.

The fighting is supposed to be a bit like

the regular RPG type and a bit like something else but I think this part was better done in the first game. There are still three types of characters – a warrior, a rogue and a mage. They all have unique ways to develop later which depend on your preferences and choices. There are more skills and spells than in the first one and they are a bit more imaginative.

It is a long game, in my opinion, so make sure you have time when you start it. But please, play the first game - it is better and it is more interesting. It seems Dragon Age II has been made in a hurry, just for the sake of money. Not good, Bioware, you can do better!
