  • I’ve only eaten Philadelphia Cream Cheese a few times since it’s not that popular in my country anyway, but the few times I’ve tasted it first were on toasted bagels and I thought that it was unique and nice, so I eventually bought one myself
  • I also remember that this one that I bought was a bit lumpy, while in the past the texture looked smooth
  • On one occasion where I most definitely prefer the taste of “Tastee Cheddar Cream Cheese” over the Philadelphia is when I’m making a certain type of homemade pizza with a slice of bread as the crust instead of using dough to make it
  • I think that sometimes if I add the cheddar cream cheese instead of real cheddar cheese it tastes just as good
  • However, I know that if I used the Philadelphia it won’t taste as great

I’ve only eaten Philadelphia Cream Cheese a few times since it’s not that popular in my country anyway, but the few times I’ve tasted it first were on toasted bagels and I thought that it was unique and nice, so I eventually bought one myself. I’m not sure if it was spoilt or what, but even though it didn’t taste terrible, it did not taste half as good as I remembered it did. I also remember that this one that I bought was a

bit lumpy, while in the past the texture looked smooth.

The type of cream cheese I’m used to eating here is cheddar cream cheese, which of course tends to be a bit harsher in taste possibly because it has more sodium than the brand of cream cheese, which is white in colour. I’ve cooked with both types and brands, and used it in things such as scrambled eggs for example. However, even with my love of cheddar cheese I find it a little hard to ...

      • choose between the two since they’re both so different in taste.

On one occasion where I most definitely prefer the taste of “Tastee Cheddar Cream Cheese” over the Philadelphia is when I’m making a certain type of homemade pizza with a slice of bread as the crust instead of using dough to make it. I think that sometimes if I add the cheddar cream cheese instead of real cheddar cheese it tastes just as good. However, I know that if I used the Philadelphia

        it won’t taste as great.

On the other hand, when it comes to price, I certainly prefer the Philadelphia, because I’ve gotten it much cheaper from vendors than the “Tastee Cheddar Cream Cheese”. I’ve gotten the Philadelphia for as low as $100 JMD, while the lowest I’ve gotten the cream cheddar cheese for is nearly two times that.

I think that the Philadelphia Cream Cheese tastes great on toast or toasted bagels, and I would most certainly recommend people to try it because it’s also inexpensive.
