  • This is very impressive because if someone having problem with typing, so having the option to perform speech based searches is a huge benefit
  • The only thing that I found bad about this app was that it crashed twice within a day and it lacks the visual search features

I am using ask.com app in my iPhone from last 5 months. This app has brings the website’s question-answering feature set to mobile users. The app returns results quickly and provides a good amount of information. I am in sales and marketing, and I mostly have many doubts regarding sales. So I just post my question on the ask.com and the good thing is that I get the answer within few minutes. This is the good app and it really helping in my profession.

You can start the Ask.com experience by either signing

up for an account, logging in with your Facebook or Linkedln credentials. The benefit of creating an account or logging in via Facebook or Linkedln is that you can interact with the Ask.com community by answering their questions.

You can see Ask.com interface on the upper-left portion of the screen. A search box is positioned to the right of the logo in which you can type your question. There is a mic on the right side of that search box. You can verbally ask a question through this mic.

      Generally you can ...

      • ask questions in two ways – by typing the whole question or by speaking it. When I asked a question “What is the capital of India”. Ask.com quickly and accurately returned the answer in the form of links and excerpts from Wikipedia, Asnwerbag etc. The more impressive thing about this app is its ability to understand spoken words. When I asked the same question verbally, Ask.com returned the same results and almost as quickly too. This is very impressive because if someone having problem with typing, so having the option to perform
speech based searches is a huge benefit.

The only thing that I found bad about this app was that it crashed twice within a day and it lacks the visual search features. But if you find yourself frequently in need of an answer while on the go, then you should download this app on you iPhone. It returns the answers quickly and accurately and the push notifications are quite helpful.
