Naproxen Sodium is also known as Aleve. You pay more for it if you buy the box that says ALEVE, because you pay for the brand name. You still get the exact same product, same amount of pain reliever per pill. So, why pay more? Buy the Naproxen.

Naproxen is a pain relieve and also reduces fevers. It is taken for colds, headaches, toothaches, cramps, backaches and muscle aches too. You

need to be cautious if you have ever had an allergic reaction to aspirin.

The symptoms of allergy to Naproxen would be manifested in hives, swelling of your face, wheezing when breathing, rash, blisters, shock and your skin turning red. If any of these symptoms appear, go to the doctor immediately or to your emergency room. Naproxen is a Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug, aka NSAID.

It is possible that NSAID’s can case stomach bleeding. The chances go up if you are over 60 yerars old or alrady have ulcers. Be sure you talk to your doctor about any other prescriptions or over the counter drugs you may be taking that may or may not interact well with Naproxen Sodium.

It needs to be taken with food or milk to keep from getting an upset stomach. Longer term use of this ...

drug can lead to heart attach or stroke. If the reason you are taking Naproxen does not get better or gets worse after 10 days, call your doctor.

If your fever gets worse or does not get better, call your doctor after only 3 days. Do NOT use Naproxen in the last 3 months of your pregnancy as the drug can cause problems in the baby or create complications in

delivery. Do not take more than the doctor or instructions tell you to take.

Do not take it more than 10 days consecutively unless your doctor tells you to. Drink a full glass of water when you take your dose. Each tablet has 20mg sodium and 200mg Naproxen (the anti inflammatory) I prefer Ibuprofen over Naproxen.

For some reason, the Naproxen doesn’t aleviate my pain as quickly. So, I give it a 7.
