  • These pills are so tiny that they go down so easily, and I notice a difference after the very first dose, though I am not back to normal until several doses
  • The very first time I tried it, I thought it was a bit of a rip-off, being that it is only 6 pills, but I never need that many, so I think it's actually quite a good value
  • Because of that, I would recommend it to anyone needing a product like this on occasion

Sometimes, my daughter will come home from school with a present for me, usually whatever bug that has been going around amongst her friends. She hardly ever gets sick, but seems to be a carrier and brings it straight to me. The nastier bugs she brings is the stomach bug type, where I suffer in misery for anywhere from a day to three days and have to rely on loads of fluids to keep from dehydrating.

Unless I am super ill, I try and self-medicate with over the counter drugs such as Immodium A-D, an antidiarrheal drug I use when sick with those bugs. The kind

I buy comes in a box of six tiny caplets that are white in color and come in a blister pack. I take as directed, 2 caplets the first time, and then one the next time, but not exceeding 4 caplets in a day. I end up taking them for about two days before I no longer need them at all. This is also safe for children, and I have given it to my child when she needed it before. It’s just a lot stronger and fast acting than something like Pepto-Bismol, and neither of us get any adverse reactions from taking it.

      • But, it contains Loperamide HCI (2 mg) which is an antidiarrheal medicine.

These pills are so tiny that they go down so easily, and I notice a difference after the very first dose, though I am not back to normal until several doses. Still, aside from prescription medicine, nothing works like that on me, after the very first dose. So, I keep buying it when needed just because it works so well. The very first time I tried it, I thought it was a bit of a rip-off, being that it is only 6 pills, but I never need that many, so I think

it’s actually quite a good value.

I get no side effects from it such as rash or headache, or anything of that nature, so apparently I have no sensitivities to the medicine used in this. I would rate this one higher than Pepto, for sure, but also over other anti-diarrheal products I have used over the years. When I do use it, it doesn’t so much get rid of the bug I have, (which are usually the 24 hour variety), but it’s wonderful at taking care of that awful symptom. Because of that, I would recommend it to anyone needing a product like this on occasion.
