  • It was also very interesting to see the unquestionable connection between this real life couple as they interact in a film together

This 2004 Lifetime Movie Network film, “It Must be Love”, starring Ted Danson and real life wife Mary Steenburgen, was as adorable romance to say the very least. The simple plot that captures the attention of the viewer is hard to ignore. It was also very interesting to see the unquestionable connection between this real life couple as they interact in a film together. It was not a movie that I usual would watch, but once it was over I was glad that I didn’t pass it by while channel surfing.

In this film, Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen play a married couple who decide to take a road trip with they’re RV. Their children are out of the house,

and they find this to be the perfect time to get away for a little while. However, this is not the usual married couples get away; because these two are taking a road trip to discuss they’re divorce. On the outside, they have seemed for years like a perfect couple, but have wanted to divorce for quite some time. Amiably about the whole thing, they discuss all matters of personal assets and material things such as they’re house and arrange agreements themselves to make for a quick divorce once they get back home. They also try very hard to become and remain friends, but they argue about who did what to whom while they were married, and subjects such ...

      • as cheating come up and create a hostile environment. To make matters worse, they get stranded in a snow storm with their RV not working, which really was a miracle in disguise because it is in that snow storm where they rekindle they’re love. They find what they love about each other and decide that divorce is not an option for them. Now what better plot is there for a movie if you are a lover of sappy romance films like I am?

Now, this film was not just revolved around romance, there are some very innocently funny moments in the film that had me laughing. The bickering between the two main characters that went on through they’re road to

divorce was very cute. It’s like the viewers could see what it was they loved about each other before the two main characters realized it. Viewers got to watch them as they fell in love all over again, and I think that being a real life couple already, they really brought that romance quality to the screen to make it believable. For anyone who enjoys the Lifetime Movie Network, or who enjoys sappy romance stories that are just laugh out loud adorable, then you should see about finding out when this movie will be playing on TV again, or purchase it through the Lifetime Movie Network online site. I really enjoyed it, and I know that many other people will as well.
