The game, Folklore for the Play Station 2 system may not seem like an entertaining game, but it really deserves a second look because there are some parts of this game that are in fact entertaining. It may not be the most entertaining game, but it does have a sotry line that is somewhat entertaining to follow.

In this game you decide whether you follow the stroy of the girl, Jane, who is in search of her lost memories and her mother in the Netherworld, of the boy, Klouse,

who is supposed to protect Hane. The fact that there is a choice between who gamers would like to play as is rare but refreshing. Most games you cant even pick a character, you are forced to play as whoever the main characters are. This game appeals to both boys and girls.

While you are playing, there is a story mode that you follow which goes in chapters. After each chapter and the begining of a new one, gamers can choose whether they want to pick the game from ...

      • either Jane or Klouse. You dont start the game over or antying, you just pick the game back up from the other characters point of view. That is a neat quality that many games I have seen dont have.

The one downside of the game for many gamers that I can foresee would be the levels that you go through. Essentially they are supposed to be like going through the levels of the Netherworld, where you fight off and make friends with fairies, monsters, ghosts and more. That was

the only unappealing part of the entire game and left me feeling a little dissapointed and frankly….bored.

While this game might have more options in the sense of getting to choose who you play as at hte begining of the game and after each chapter, the destination you go to are not all that thrilling. It’s either a game that you will either love or hate I think. But if it sounds like something you might be interested in then you should find out more about it before purchasing it.
