  • The game comes with a £1.79 price tag which is a bit more expensive than other games (which are usually just 59p), but I think that it is worth it because of the sheer addictive nature of the gameplay
  • I found that the game kept making me return for more, and I even managed to get my father hooked on it
  • I bought the game when I first got my iPod Touch (about a year ago)and the developers have made it a universal app, so I can play it on my iPad too
  • The game has managed to survive every app clear out on my iPod, so I would consider it one of my all time favourite apps
  • After a while playing it on the iPad I managed to rack up 6356, but I don't think I will remain satisfied with that

Canabalt is a simplistic game which was originally developed as a flash game. It has since been ported to the iOS devices, and it works very well.

The game comes with a £1.

79 price tag which is a bit more expensive than other games (which are usually just 59p), but I think that it is worth it because of the sheer addictive

      nature of the gameplay.

The idea is very basic: the guy runs, progressively getting faster until he hits an object; you have to tap the screen to make him jump over the gaps of the buildings.

After a couple of runs you will get into the rhythm of the game and keep hitting the button to race again and try to beat your record.

The game isn’t as easy as you may thin, and you have to be to be tactical in terms of hitting boxes to lose speed.

I found that the game kept making me return for more, and I even managed to get my father hooked on it.

The game is packaged in a very appealing way: using greyscale pixel graphics ...

and brilliantly composed music, this becomes a surprisingly immersive experience for the player.

The game has managed to survive every app clear out on my iPod, so I would consider

it one of my all time favourite apps.

After a while playing it on the iPad I managed to rack up 6356, but I don’t think I will remain satisfied with that!

This is a brilliant game that would make a brilliant edition to any iOS device, perfect to play while waiting for the bus etc.

it is a the ideal time pleaser and ice breaker.
