  • I prefer cherry or mixed berry flavored lozenges and drops and a poor taste is nothing short of unexceptable
  • They were about $5.00 so they were a little on the expensive side, but I thought that if they were indeed better than halls then they would be well worth the money

Even though I am grown I turn into a bit of a child when I ahve a sore throat. I cannot stand the pain and the feeling of have a sore, scratchy, and swollen throat. That is why whenever a sore throat strikes I eat throat lozenges and cough drops like they are candy. I prefer cherry or mixed berry flavored lozenges and drops and a poor taste is nothing short of unexceptable. One brand of thrat lozenges that I did not have

very good luck with was Cepacol Extra Strenght Lozenges. I had heard from friends that they worked great and packed a better punch than did halls which were my usual choice.

So I was at my local Rite Aide one day and I saw an 18 pack of Cepacol and decided to go ahead and try them out. They were about $5.00 so they were a little on the expensive side, but I thought that if they were indeed better than halls then they would be well worth the money. However, just to be on the safe side I went ahead and purchased a few packages of Halls Extra Strenght Fruit Freezer throat lozenges. Let me go ahead and say now that I am so greatful that I went ahead and purchased that pack of halls.

The Cepacol product did not touch my sore throat at all. I went through about 8 lozenges before I finally gave up and went to the halls. They were supposed to ...

ease the pain of a sore throat and prodvide some sort of temporary relief but they did not. Sucking on one of the Cepacol lozenges was like sucking on a piece of sugar free cherry candy. It had an okay flavor but it did nothing for me whatsoever. I had expected the pain from my sore throat or at least the scratchy burning feeling to lessen but an hour and 8 lozenges later I finally realized that they just were not going to
      work for me.

I honestly would not suggest this product at all. I had not luck and paid double the price of halls for absolutely no luck at all. Please if you decide to try this product, purchase a back-up brand of throat lozenges that you know works. If this porduct works for you than great you just have extra stuff, but if not then you will be so greatful to have some relief and not have to suffer until you go back to the store.

I believe that as well the product is way to expensive and they are not very good such as halls.
