  • When I first heard about Airborne Effervescent Health Formula, I wanted to try it out because if there are any germs in the air, I will most definitely catch them
  • I bought a 10 tablet box for $5 at my local Walmart just to try them out
  • I found out when opening the box, I guess because I didn't pay enough attention to the box itself, that they're not chewable, but they are little tablets in a portable case and I had to drop a tablet into a glass of water where it would fizzle and dissolve like alka seltzer does

When I first heard about Airborne Effervescent Health Formula, I wanted to try it out because if there are any germs in the air, I will most definitely catch them. I’m just built that way, with a weaker immune system. I bought a 10 tablet box for $5 at my local Walmart just to try them out. I bought the Zesty Orange flavor, figuring they would taste like Vitamin C chewables.

I found out when opening the box, I guess because I didn’t pay enough attention to the box itself, that they’re not chewable, but they are little tablets in a portable case and I had to drop a tablet into a glass of water where it would fizzle and dissolve like alka seltzer does. I didn’t like that as much because it meant

if I was to use it when not at home, I;d have to make sure I had an open glass of water handy before I could take them. But, they dissolve pretty quickly so it only takes minutes before I am able to take them. I took them every 3 hours as directed a day before going to a large function where there would be tons of kids running around. I figured, it wouldn’t hurt to have that extra protection.

The taste is really light. It has a hint of orange zest, like if I had a slice of orange, peel and all, sitting in a glass of water. It’s somewhat pleasing. It does leave a lot of residue, so unless I wipe my finger in the glass and eat the granules,

      • I’m not getting the full dose. Still, enough dissolves in the water that I am able to be “medicated”.

I guess it worked the first time, because I never got sick. Who’s to say that I even needed it, though. I looked at the ingredients and they are all things I get anyway with my daily vitamin regimen, with the exception of extras such as Lonicera, Chinese Vitex, and Isatis Root. But, it contains Vitamins A, C, and E along with others like Zinc and Magnesium.

I bought more when I ran out and took it fairly regularly, skipping some of my vitamins (mainly A & E) so I wouldn’t overdose, but I eventually started questioning them because I eventually did get a cold. And then, I did again. I do not blame

the tablets so much as I do my immune system because they are pretty much the same as my vitamins, and I get sick while taking them as well. I do believe they offer extra protection, especially to those who are otherwise healthy. But, they really didn’t help me much. I have started buying them for my daughter though, in the Kid’s formula because her immune system is not so weak that she’d get sick regardless. I let her take them whenever there is something going around her school and she always comes out healthy, even if it is in her classroom among her friends that she sits by and plays with. So, I do think there is something to this medicine, just that it didn’t really help me out any. I’d recommend it.
