The Olive Garden restaurant in Ocala Florida, a well-known Italian inspired family focused food restaurant, has not once let me down. And the food that they serve there is always something that satisfies my craving for amazing Italian cuisine. One dish in particular, the Ravioli Di Portobello, is a plate that every Italian food lover who enjoys ravioli, cheese, sun dried tomatoes and Portobello mushrooms should try.

To start off, this plate is found in the pasta section of the Olive Garden menu. It is a

dish that obviously has a ravioli base, and they are hefty portions of ravioli as well, not small mini one that resemble appetizers. The raviolis are lined flat on the plate and covered in a sharp cheese sauce with sun dried tomatoes and green herbs. The inside of the ravioli is stuffed with creamy and delicious Portobello mushrooms that are to die for. They are so tasty and tangy, and almost melt as soon as they hit your tongue.

Sometimes, when trying a new dish that ...

      • has mushroom in them, I am a little leery about how they will be cooked and what they will taste like. But after hearing the combination of ingredients found in this dish, I knew that I couldn’t resist the temptation to try it. Unlike other dishes that hold Portobello mushrooms, these mushrooms are not hard or chewy, but delicate and buttery almost. They truly do just melt right in your mouth, making this dish taste as though it is a sin to be eating it. And
the cheese sauce smothered over it is not too tangy and not too sharp, but just right, giving this meal the perfect combination of ingredients to make a masterpiece that is perfect for lunch or dinner.

Overall, I have found this dish to be wonderfully enticing and a party for my taste buds. If ever you are in the area of the Olive Garden in Ocala Florida, and you enjoy ravioli dishes and Portobello mushrooms, you should not hesitate to grab an order and see for yourself . Enjoy.
