  • It was a ‘buy one get one free offer’ which is excellent value since I only paid £1.50 per bottle, since each bottle cost £3.50 for 400ml
  • The shampoo doesn’t smell of anything, it just smells of a generic shampoo, for those who like their shampoo to have a nice fragrance, this definitely isn’t the shampoo to purchase
  • I found it doesn’t help keep the colour of my hair stay for longer which is claims to do
  • I sometimes mix it with the L’Oreal Paris Elvive Nutri-Gloss Light Shampoo as they make an excellent combination and I feel as if my hair is getting a pampering, since it is getting two formulas which do different yet also some similar jobs such as softening the hair so I get the best of both worlds
  • I do recommend this shampoo to those with all hair types and who want to give their hair extra care instead of the usual drying shampoo

I purchased this shampoo at a local drugstore on offer. It was a ‘buy one get one free offer’ which is excellent value since I only paid £1.50 per bottle, since each bottle cost £3.50 for 400ml. I use it a couple of times a week. I have had it for three weeks and currently have over half left in the bottle. The packaging is a red bottle with a generic cap and opening, it isn’t that easy to open despite the indentation near the opening.

The shampoo doesn’t smell of anything, it just smells of a generic shampoo, for those who like

their shampoo to have a nice fragrance, this definitely isn’t the shampoo to purchase.

I found it doesn’t help keep the colour of my hair stay for longer which is claims to do: prolongs & accentuates colour radiance. However it does perform in making the hair quite soft and it feels as if my hair is in better condition after using it. I do have dry and coloured hair and this shampoo fits

The formula is a thick, creamy yet gel like consistency and distributes over the hair nicely, if I feel I need more lather I just add water and it foams up ...

      • quite quickly, creating a rich lather. The formula does contain sodium laureth sulphate which is drying to the hair; however the majority of shampoos on the current market have this, as it is an excellent foaming agent.

I found the shampoo does last a long time because I don’t find myself using a lot of the product at once. I sometimes mix it with the L’Oreal Paris Elvive Nutri-Gloss Light Shampoo as they make an excellent combination and I feel as if my hair is getting a pampering, since it is getting two formulas which do different yet also some similar jobs such

as softening the hair so I get the best of both worlds.

I do recommend this shampoo to those with all hair types and who want to give their hair extra care instead of the usual drying shampoo. However if you are looking for a shampoo to ensure that your hair colour lasts longer, this isn’t the shampoo to do so. It performs well and a moisturising and repairing shampoo, however its title of ‘colour protect’ is not what the formula does, which is in actual fact what a product should do, at least try and live up to its name not another.
