The Toshiba Satellite C655 is not the 1st tier laptop that people want to buy. It’s relatively inexpensive and useful, but useful is a broad and subjective word. Useful to me means the laptop can handle high quality Youtube video with ease and have 20+ Firefox tabs and still work at its top speed.

Useful to other people may mean the computer has a built in Web Camera with little lag from its processor

and play wonderful emulator games such as the Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess game on the Dolphin Emulator. If you’re looking for that computer that can do anything, you’re to not buy this laptop under ANY conditions.

If you’re looking for a laptop with minimal distractions due to the need to be that A+ student in college, then this laptop is meant to be for you. I’ll being on the pros of this laptop.

      • It is extremely basic. It’s meant for typing, organizing and watching.

Anything else and you may be pushing its Dual Core Pentium CPU Processor. Watching multiple Youtube Videos can stretch its capabilities to its maximum ability.

Otherwise this computer will serve you well in those regards. The cons of this computer are that it is prone to hard drive malfunctions and often has Opengl rendering problems.

        I actually had to

send my computer back because its hard drive actually burned out in less than 3 months. A warranty with this computer is absolutely necessary because if a burn out does happen, a new hard drive from the place it was bought at is actually better than the original computer’s hard drive.

Beware, if you’re the communications and Web camera fanatic, this computer is not meant for you. Hope this brief review served you well!
