  • This could be a pro if you already have light skin and light-colored hair, but it definitely sucks when you're darker skinned

I used this bleach on my face and arms for years. I didn’t yet know about feminine shavers or epilators, which I use now, so this was the only way I knew how to minimize the appearance of my facial and arm hair.

I’ll start with the pros. It works pretty well at minimizing the appearance of your hair, especially on your face. That’s the most important thing, so it’s why I kept using it. I would rather have blonde hair than dark,

      obvious hair.

Okay, and now for the cons. It turns your hair very blonde. I’m a relatively tan-skinned brunette, so it looked very strange when I had blonde arm hairs and dark brown hair on my head. This could be a pro if you already have light skin and light-colored hair, but it definitely sucks when you’re darker skinned. I got a lot of questions from my friends about why my arm hair was so light. I always just shrugged and said sheepishly,

      • “I dunno.” Bleaching is also smelly, time-consuming, painful at times, and messy. The smell would burn my nose sometimes. The smell is so sharp and unpleasant. It takes about 10-15 minutes every time you want to bleach, which I had to do about every two weeks. (Feminine shavers and epilators only take about 5 minutes, in comparison.) I dreaded dragging out the kit, measuring and mixing the two components, spreading the cream on my face and arms, then waiting 8 or so
minutes before washing it all off. When I put it on my face, something would be emitted from the cream that burned my eyes and made them tear up. It was a struggle to keep them open in order to continue spreading the cream around. Man, that sucked. I also got the bleach on my clothes several times, as well as dripping it on the floor or bathroom counter. It’s such a pain to clean up!

I would definitely suggest feminine shavers or epilators over this bleach.
