  • They use the circular caps and the smoothie or tea they put in it always goes about halfway up the lid, so you are really getting a good bang for your bucks, definitely not being ripped off at this place

      This place is amazingly good!

My family and friends and I are always stopping by Bambu to get our dessert drinks. They have two other locations besides this one on Hostetter. They have good hours and their drinks are always consistent. Depending on the time, it CAN get really busy and you’ll wait maybe 15 minutes to order and get your drinks, but if you come at those random times of the day, then it only takes a few minutes in

all. The staff is average. They’ll give you a smile, ask for your order, answer any questions you may have, and double check the order before putting it in. The place has a good vibe to it too. It’s a small hole in the wall in an Asian plaza, but they make it look good. There are hip decorations everywhere and they have a big flat screen tv that they use to play music videos. There is also enough seating ...

      • inside and outside.

My favorite drink to get: the avocado smoothie with pearls - $3.75 I particularly like the one from Bambu because it tastes like real avocado. At other Asian cafes you can tell its not real, such that they may use powder or syrup…YUCK. Bambu’s tastes real and is thick, so it takes a long time for it to melt, which means you can take your time drinking it, too. The pearls are the perfect consistency. They are

        chewy, but not overly chewy.

Thai tea with pearls - tastes good and strong.

Black mil tea - flavorful and therefore tastes really good, too

Another thing that is good about Bambu is that they fill up their cups higher than the rim. They use the circular caps and the smoothie or tea they put in it always goes about halfway up the lid, so you are really getting a good bang for your bucks, definitely not being ripped off at this place.
