  • The one other quality that needed to be good in order for this cereal to be a superb value was the flavor, and I don't think blueberry lovers will be disappointed in how this cereal tastes
  • I obviously don't know if every person out there that likes blueberry-flavored cereal will enjoy this cereal, but I definitely did and have already purchased it a couple of times because I find the cereal both flavorful and filling, in addition to being impressively priced and plentiful in quantity
  • While I think the blueberry-flavoring is the dominate flavor, the shredded wheat after taste is certainly noticeable and might be unpalatable to those that dislike shredded wheat
  • The blueberry taste is a bit sweeter than I expected and thus doesn't seem entirely natural, but I still enjoyed the cereal
  • I don't like cereal for breakfast that gets soggy fast or fails to leave me feeling full

The Millville Frosted Shredded Wheat Blueberry cereal comes in a sixteen ounce box for one dollar and eighty-nine cents at ALDI Food Market stores. The size of the box and the price of the cereal are both impressive and are what convinced me to give this cereal a try. Shredded wheat cereal is not for everyone due to its heavy, multi-layered texture and powerful wheat taste. The flavor of shredded wheat is unmistakable since the cereal isn’t frosted with blueberry flavoring on both sides. While I think the blueberry-flavoring is the dominate flavor, the shredded wheat after taste is certainly noticeable and might be unpalatable to those that dislike shredded wheat. The blueberry taste ...

      • is a bit sweeter than I expected and thus doesn’t seem entirely natural, but I still enjoyed the cereal. Also, the thing about shredded wheat cereal is it’s more filling than other kinds of cereal, so whether I have it for breakfast or a snack, it does fill me up. Also, unlike other kinds of cereal, shredded wheat cereal tends to leave my mouth more dry than usual unless I have it with milk. I will say though that this is one of the better cereals to have with milk because it doesn’t get soggy quickly.

Wheat Blueberry cereal is a very good breakfast cereal because it doesn’t get soft in milk that quickly and is filling. I don’t like cereal for breakfast that gets soggy fast or fails to leave me feeling full. It’s a very good cereal in general because it has a pleasant flavor, retails at a rather attractive price and a lot of it comes in a box. It’s not a favorite of mine, but that’s in part due to me being not overly crazy about shredded wheat cereals, but I can enjoy a bowl or some as a snack without much difficulty.

Can not find Blueberry mini shredded wheat around Plano, McKinney, Allen, Hurst, Texas Aldi stores. What’s going on?

Different cereals, much like many other products at Aldi, come and go. It may have temporary been rotated out for other cereals or it may have been discontinued. A manager at your local Aldi may be able to give you an explanation as to why it’s no longer available and whether or not it will become available again at a later date.

In the meantime, you may have to settle for either the name brand Kellogg’s cereal sold at stores like Walmart or see if you can find a similar store-brand cereal elsewhere.
