This movie, which features Tim Allen, John Travolta, and Martin Lawrence, was very popular in the theatres, which was part of why I decided to go see it. The trailers looked okay, not particularly great but I’ve never really believed in picking movies based on trailers anyway.

/> The story goes: four middle class suburban guys decide to hang loose and go on a summer bike trip.

There are, of course, problems with their wives or their jobs.

And that’s the jist of it.

They very quickly get into some weird situations, and there are ...

      • a few very obvious jokes.

They run into trouble with a bike gang, and this is where the real fun is supposed to start, but it kind of falls flat.

It seems a bit too obvious and a bit too unlikely.

Of the four guys, three of

them resolve their issues by the end of the movie, one in an unlikely scene where it turns out the wives tracked them down and found them.

It’s a fun movie to watch, and it’s very watchable, but it’s not really the best movie ever or anything close to that.
