  • Even when cooked properly, I found that I had to cook a lot of these fries because they're thin, since thin fries aren't going to be as filling as thicker, fatter fries
  • The Season’s Choice Shoestring Fries may be considered delicious by some, especially those that really enjoy the fries served up at McDonald's or Whataburger, but I was never much of a fan of the fries from either of the aforementioned fast foods in the first place, so my disappointment in these frozen shoestring fries was perhaps inevitable

The Season’s Choice Shoestring Fries come in a twenty-eight ounce package for one dollar and sixty-nine cents at ALDI Food Market stores. These shoestring fries look and taste a lot like the fries served at fast foods such as McDonald’s and Whataburger. They’re very thin in terms of thickness, as the name implies, and they’re not so big on taste, at least when compared to the thicker, seasoned frozen fries carried in stores. Even

the non-seasoned thicker fries have more flavor than these thin fries. It’s no surprise that more of these fries come in a bag for less compared with the other frozen fries considering how they’re inferior in quality.

I can see how people might be attracted to the low price and big bag, as I was, but it’s better to steer clear of shoestring fries because they aren’t that filling, don’t taste as good and burn easier as well as get harder when overcooked than
thicker frozen fries. One bag was more than enough for me.

I’ll simply avoid them from now on.
