  • Although I assume this is primarily for younger girls, looking to spice up their nails without having to spend money at a salon, I can also definitely use a break when it comes to nail design
  • I am not exactly a nail snob and can definitely live with my nails being less than perfectly well done up and manicured, so I thought I could definitely take matters into my own hands and make use of this cool new toy
  • The pen is great because it is so compact and convenient
  • When I first used it I was just looking to try it out, having no design in mind, and so I drew a random little shape on my thumb nail, it did not come out as I intended and I thought I would have to just leave it until I could get my hands on some polish remover, however I accidentally smudged it and it came off without a problem

I received the Sally Hansen Nail Art Pen as a fun little stocking stuffer from my boyfriend’s mom. Although I assume this is primarily for younger girls, looking to spice up their nails without having to spend money at a salon, I can also definitely use a break when it comes to nail design. After all doing a design after a manicure is significantly more expensive and those costs do eventually add up. I am not exactly a nail snob and can definitely live with my nails being less than perfectly well done up and manicured, so I thought I could definitely take matters into my own hands and make use

      of this cool new toy.

The pen is great because it is so compact and convenient. Unlike nail polish it is not glass and therefore will not likely break if left in your purse and tossed around. It looks pretty much like a regular marker would. It’s very lightweight and not too thick so it fits comfortably in my fingers.

This product is extremely easy to use. Once you get it out of the slightly flimsy packaging, all you are required to do is shake the pen, kind of like with a tube of white out, then press it to a hard surface in order to bring forth the color ...

      • and then apply to your nail.

My favorite part of the pen is how easy it is to remove if you mess up. Unlike with nail polish, nothing except for a tissue is required and it comes off perfectly clean, with no remnants of color being left behind. When I first used it I was just looking to try it out, having no design in mind, and so I drew a random little shape on my thumb nail, it did not come out as I intended and I thought I would have to just leave it until I could get my hands on some polish remover, however I accidentally smudged

it and it came off without a problem.

The color dries fairly quickly and it is not runny enough to move out of place. In other words, unless you blatantly touch it within the first few seconds, it will not smudge or get messed up at all. When I first took off the cap, the tip of the pen seemed a bit thick and I was worried about how easy it would be to maneuver it, however that was not a problem at all, I drew with ease and comfort immediately, and I am certainly not an experienced nail painter.

This is a great and fun product for girls of all ages.
