My previous address was very close to a decent supermarket which made me reluctant to shop at Trader Joe’s as it is extremely far from where I live. Recently, however, I moved to a neighborhood where grocery stores and
supermarkets are less than reliable and have therefore been forced to drag my grocery shopping far far away. This has hardly been a downgrade though. Trader Joe’s is the kind of place that I am glad I have to go to once a week.

Every single time that I have asked for help, the friendly people working at the store have not only been very pleasant and helpful but went above and beyond to make suggestions and offer their opinions if you sought it out. I have literally never had a bad experience with customer service at this place. Grocery stories are hardly ever known ...

The selection at Trader Joe’s is also excellent. Although the store is fairly small compared to big shots like WholeFoods, this is the place I go to when I am looking for something out of the ordinary like nutritional yeast or organic purple sweet potatoes. With all the stuff that is jam-packed in the store it is a wonder that it is as neatly arranged as it is, it should be quite a mess! On top of all the selection, all the produce here is amazingly fresh, and simply beautiful to look at.

The only bad thing to say about this place is that the lines get to be quite long, especially at peak times such as after work or during lunch time, however this is the price you pay for excellence. Also, it must be said with the amount of people that come through here, the cashier people work with extreme speed and efficiency, working through huge lines within minutes and placing everything in bags with thought and care so that you don’t end up with mushy tomatoes or broken eggs. This place is an absolute pleasure, I wish there were more of them to be found.
