The Turtle Beach Earforce X11 gaming headset is for serious gamers, as well as, casual users. They take the experience of gaming to the next level, especially in first person shooting games like Call of Duty.

The X11 model of the headset are a wired headset, but with the cable being 16 feet long it isn’t a big deal at all.

The headset comes with an in-line amplifier which allows you to control the volume of your headset, both the chat volume

and game volume separately, without ever having to get up.

Long gaming sessions? No problem! The top of the headset is padded and the earphones are large enough to cup around your ear, in addition to the headset being light its like not having a headset on at all.

So, whats the real advantage to using a headset opposed to the volume of TV? It’s a world of difference.

Using the X11’s is like having your own personal surround sound.

      Enemies ...

      • are no longer able to sneak up on you because you can hear their muffled footsteps, as well as, the reloading of their gun.

This headset isn’t just for gaming though.

If you have roommates this is perfect for listening to a movie or a TV show without disturbing them.

In addition to the use with an Xbox 360/PC they can also be used with any MP3 player, including phones, with a 3.

5mm jack to listen to music.

only downfall I have found so far is that the power is supplied by the USB connector, which not only takes up a port on the Xbox 360 or computer, it is also required to listen to an iPod.

However, there is a silver lining, the USB works in the adapter for cell phone chargers that most cell phones now come with.

Overall, if you want an overall gaming experience on a budget the $60 price tag is more than worth it.
