  • That's a fair price in my opinion and I haven't found frozen onion rings cheaper in other stores
  • Not only is the price of the onion rings appetizing, the onion rings themselves are quite satisfying to the taste and I enjoy having a small side of onion rings with some of my meals
  • These onion rings can be prepared a couple of different ways, but I prefer cooking them in the oven because they come out crispy and not too greasy when cooked that way

Season’s Choice Diced Onion Rings is a frozen food product carried at ALDI Food Market stores. The onion rings may be available at other stores that specialize in off brands, but I don’t know of any others that do. A sixteen ounce bag retails for one dollar and nineteen cents. These onion rings can be prepared a couple of different ways, but I prefer cooking them in the oven because they come out crispy and not too greasy when cooked that way. They’re a tad greasy even when cooked in the oven, but they aren’t as greasy as onion rings that are cooked in say a deep ...

      • fryer. The lack of grease doesn’t mean there’s a lack of flavor, though. The onion rings smell and taste good. The batter that surrounds the onion is just as tasty as the onion itself. They remind me a lot of onion rings sold at fast foods such as Sonic in terms of taste and texture. The thickness of the onion inside the onion rings ranges from thin to slightly thick.

I enjoy the Season’s Choice Diced Onion Rings. They’re as easy

to cook in the oven as frozen fries and come out of the oven with a slight onion aroma that’s pretty pleasant. As long as the onion rings are cooked properly, they end up being crispy all around and they cook evenly, too, as long as the onion rings are flipped over about halfway through the cooking process. This is a frozen food item that sells at a very fair price considering the quantity and quality of the onion rings.
