The internet is plagued sometimes with sites that look kid friendly, but are really not at all appropriate for children. Which makes trusting online games for kids a hassle for parents. However, the game Moshi Monsters, is extremely kid safe, and even has a section for parents so that they can see what they’re child is getting into and be able to view the site themselves first.

In this game, children pick a monster to adopt from

a variety of monsters displayed. Now, when the word monster comes up, people usually think that they are scary and not at all kid friendly. But these monsters are cuddly and friendly looking and live in a world on your computer that is adorable and filled with sunshine and happy kid friendly qualities. After the gamer chooses a monster, they can then customize their monsters colors and give it a name. The monster then goes to its ...

      • home on the computer screen and actually interacts with the gamer. For instance, it will ask what the gamers name is (you aren’t supposed to use your real name) and then ask other things like where it lives and when its birthday is. Then, gamers get to work on playing games with their monster to earns stones, which is the form of currency on the site, and which will then allow the gamers to purchase things from
the town store for their monsters house.

The games that the gamers play are very educational also, such thinking questions and puzzles and even some math thrown in there without the gamer really knowing that they are learning in the process. The graphics of the game are very cute and appealing to the eye and allow for a happy environment to enjoy an educational game with. No doubt that this game with be a big success with children.
