  • I am no expert on applying lashes, but I know good false lashes from bad lashes
  • I recently purchased the Sephora Collection Flirt-It Lash Duo and I can't really say that I am that impressed
  • I thought that purchasing a Sephora brand set of false eyelashes would guarantee me better quality and an easier time applying, but I was very wrong
  • Unfortunately, these are worse than many of the drugstore brand false eyelashes that I have used in the past
  • The thing that I dislike most about the Sephora Collection Flirt-It Lash Duo is the band used to hold the lashes together

I hate having to put on false eyelashes. It is one of the most tedious beauty processes I have ever had to endure and sometimes, I just end up giving up midway through. I am no expert on applying lashes, but I know good false lashes from bad lashes. I recently purchased the Sephora Collection Flirt-It Lash Duo and I can’t really say that I am that impressed. I thought that purchasing a Sephora brand set of false eyelashes would guarantee me better quality and an easier time applying, but I was very wrong. Unfortunately, these are worse than many of the drugstore brand false eyelashes that I

      have used in the past.

The thing that I dislike most about the Sephora Collection Flirt-It Lash Duo is the band used to hold the lashes together. Compared to most other sets of false lashes, the band is super thin. This makes it very hard to even apply the lashes in the first place. It is just too flimsy to really hold up. Another terrible thing about the band is the fact that it is white. How could any false lash maker think that having a white band would be a good thing. If I had realized that the band was white before purchasing, I would never have taken ...

      • the lashes out of the store in the first place. A white band is extremely noticeable against my darker complexion. Anyone whose skin does not match the white color of the band would have a very noticeable line there. It just isn’t a smart design. I end up having to use a lot of intensely black eyeliner to make it look natural. The other thing about this band that is also terrible is the fact that it is very fragile. If you are not careful when you are cutting and placing the lashes, you might rip it slightly. You have to apply for slowly and cautiously in order
to ensure that you don’t damage the lashes.

Once the Sephora Collection Flirt-It Lash Duo lashes are on the eyes, they actually do look pretty natural. They make my eyes pop a bit more than normal because I have short lashes. However, the fact that these lashes are so hard to get on in the first place just really does not make me like them at all. I will probably never repurchase these in the future. There are cheaper brands of false lashes that are easier to apply than these. Overall I have to give the Sephora Collection Flirt-It Lash Duo a rating of a 3 out of 10. I was not impressed.
