I recently watched the movie Red Riding Hood starring Amanda Seyfried as the popular children’s story main character. I was very curious to watch the movie as I wanted to see how they would depict a well-known children’s story into a full fledged movie.

The plot was about a village being victimized by a werewolf, and the search for the werewolf within the village.

      However, as the story progresses,

there are several holes in the story that would make you feel as if they just forced some things to be able to make up a movie out of the classic story.

The more you think about it, the more absurd things about the movie you will come up with.

Throughout the story, they make a few characters look suspicious.

If you are perceptive, it will be quite easy to ...

      • guess who the werewolf is.

The premise of the movie —the hunt for a werewolf who is among the villagers— actually has a lot of potential.

If the characters were more developed and the plot more intricate and yet tighter and more reasonable, it would have been one great suspense and mystery movie, complete with more eerie moonlight scenes.

However, the movie does have its entertaining points.

        It is

quite visually appealing and realistically portrays a village in the forest.

I also like the chemistry between the romantic leads Amanda Seyfried and Shiloh Fernandez.

Although the story doesn’t quite fit perfectly, and there are some aspects which are downright illogical, as a whole the movie did entertain me and is worth watching if only to pass time or see how they made the classic Little Red Riding Hood into a movie.
