I decided to try pay as you go after two years of cell phone contracts, realizing my cell phone usage was minimal, but understanding how useful cell phones are during urgent times. I simply went into my local retail store and purchased my phone which was

on sale for less than $30, and came with $10 of airtime.

The airtime was a very nice perk.

I have been very happy with my both my phone and the service.

Set up was fast and easy using my home telephone, and my ...

      • number was even given to me over the phone.

I must add this was an automated process, and I enjoyed not having to wait for a live person to assist with my call.

Being able to control the amount I spend each time I add

        funds is wonderful.

If I plan to travel I simply add more than usual.

It is great to have a cell phone in case I am unable to reach a pay phone or if my home phone is down and in need of repairs.
