  • I bought the Seche Vite fast drying top coat nail varnish last year, and after using it all that while I can say with confidence that this nail varnish defeats all other nail varnishes
  • I know that is a huge claim, but it is based on experience and I have no doubt saying it
  • It seemed like a bad idea but I decided to just follow the instructions and see how it would go
  • I found it very easy to do this and in three strokes I was done
  • This was not a big issue for me, however, as I think that redoing chipped nail varnish makes the nails look patchy anyway

I bought the Seche Vite fast drying top coat nail varnish last year, and after using it all that while I can say with confidence that this nail varnish defeats all other nail varnishes. I know that is a huge claim, but it is based on experience and I have no doubt saying it. I first bought it at £16 for two. I had reservations about how they would work, but in the past I have put up with some pretty bad brands so I figured it wouldn’t be that bad.

The varnish came in a 14ml bottle. According to the instructions, you are supposed to apply this top

coat on wet nail varnish. It seemed like a bad idea but I decided to just follow the instructions and see how it would go. To apply it, you are supposed to get a small portion of it on the end of a brush. You then apply it smoothly. I found it very easy to do this and in three strokes I was done. It formed a thick layer, and apparently that is how it gets on wet nail varnish. Despite my misgivings, it worked well. I expected it to take longer than stated to dry, but it really did dry within a minute and I was ...

      • able to do tings with my hands after five minutes without it coming off.

I found the finish of this top coat to be the best thing about it. Usually, when I use other top coats, they tended to lose their gloss after they dried. I tried many different kinds of varnish and top coat to maintain initial gloss, but I had never found a product that maintained that gloss until I came across the Seche Vite. It stayed glossy for a very long time, and my nails had this professional look. Also, I found that when using this top coat, it didn’t chip as much as when

I used other kinds of top coat. The disadvantage of this is that when it does chip, it is virtually to redo bits. This was not a big issue for me, however, as I think that redoing chipped nail varnish makes the nails look patchy anyway. However, redoing a whole nail takes very little time with this top coat

Generally speaking, this has proven to be everything I need in a top coat and I have made up my mind to buy a base coat from the same manufacturer. You only need to use a very small amount of the top coat, meaning that the whole bottle should last a while.
