A lot of the times when point and click adventure games attempt to add some humor into their script it all goes a little bit awry. Yes, some of the best games in the adventure genre have been ones that gave gotten the humor just right.

Ghost In The Sheet is a humor based point and click adventure game that tells the story of guy that get hits by a car and ends up as a ghost in a sheet, doing the dirty job of finding other missing ghosts for

his afterlife boss. The closest game I can think of to compare it with would be GRIM FANDANGO, but this one is a long way off matching the genius of that game.

The first person perspective works well in some ways, but in other ways it annoyed me. For example, if you want to look at something you just click your mouse pointer on it, but if you want to interact with it in any way you have to select your skills from a panel on the left hand ...

      • side of the screen first. This proved to be quite cumbersome and I think the option of using the right mouse button or even the mouse scroller would have helped this part of the game improve.

The graphics are decent enough, but the backgrounds could have really benefited from being a little less static, like some of the screens where nothing moves and there’s only a door to interact with or something like that, these screens are more just like a drawing than a part of a game world. There

also a few screens that were so dense and ark that I was forced to up the brightness on my monitor just to see where I was supposed to be going.

Actually playing as a ghost rather than chasing one was a refreshing change for me, and will be the same for anybody that plays a lot of adventure based games, but I feel it could have been so much better. have a try of the game if you liked Grim Fandango, just don’t expect it to be anywhere near as good.
