I have never been the type to spend a lot of money on bathroom tissue. I pride myself in finding bargains and have always been happier with the bathroom tissues that cost around a dollar. I recently went shopping and could not find my bathroom tissue of choice. A matter of fact, it was a busy weekend and the stock at the store was very low. I found a tissue that I had never even noticed before. I purchased the Pert 1000 Sheet Bathroom Tissue. The package was bulky and the rolls looked quite big. The package contained four rolls with 1000 sheets each for about $2.50. The rolls were big in size and very firm to the touch. The tissue itself did not have any feel

of fluff or comfort at first touch. The tissue seemed to be very thin; however it was also very sturdy. It did not rip too easily, unless it was at the perforations. This tissue can be used without me having to worry about getting urine or anything on my hands.

Though this was a large roll, it still fit perfectly on the roller dispenser. The sheets looked almost see through and reminded me of the gas station tissue. I also noticed that the sheets were easy to rip off. Initially I could not really even see the perforations, but noticed them as the tissue ripped with ease time after time. Though this tissue does not have a lot of cushion, it is still fairly comfortable. I ...

      • did not feel scratches or any kind of discomfort from the tissue. It could have been softer, but nothing that anyone could not handle as long as you wipe with care. I would not really recommend it for nose problems, because it is a little too rough for the face. I noticed my one year olds face becoming redder after using this tissue for that purpose. Though this tissue is thin, I was shocked at how absorbent it was. Initially I was using a lot of it, because I thought I would need that much. After noticing I was doing a lot of wasting, I cut back and watched the roll last for days.

I had always purchased cheaper bathroom tissue because I figured it was all

the same. I have come to realize that spending the extra money is worth it. With the one dollar tissue, I find myself buying a package every 4 days. With this Pert 1000 Sheet bathroom tissue, I can buy a pack and have it last for about two weeks for a family of four. I could only imagine how long it would last for a single person. I like this tissue because it saves me trips to the store, and I feel that it is sufficient. I think that this is my new favorite tissue. I would not recommend it to those looking for maximum comfort. I would however recommend it for those looking for something reliable and long lasting. It is great for families on a budget.

I`ve never written a review on toilet paper before, however I saw this and thought I should comment. I have used Pert and have been very satisfied with it. I used to use Scott - which also has a 1,000 sheets on the roll. They just last longer. Pert, is more economical. Sure you could get the softer brands, they are very nice. However at the end of the day, who wants to be changing the roll every other week or so depending how many folks are in your house. Pert gets my vote
