  • I like knowing which credit cards are a good investment and which ones are a bad investment, and believe me
  • The first year annual fee is around one hundred and twenty-five dollars, and once that fee is taken from your card once they issue it, you follow-up the next year with a fifteen dollar monthly fee which is also ridiculous in my opinion
  • I know there are people who desperately want to improve their credit or want a credit card in general with a high credit limit, I highly suggest you run for the hills because this card will put you in the poor house faster than what you will do to yourself

I like knowing which credit cards are a good investment and which ones are a bad investment, and believe me: Applied bank unsecured visa gold credit card is a BAD investment. The idea behind the Applied bank unsecured visa gold credit card is to help people with bad credit re-establish their credit; however, dealing with this company and their product will only make your credit even worse.

The only pro I can say about this card is that it offers a large limit of five hundred dollars without a deposit. Besides the high limit and no deposit, there

is nothing else good to say about this card. The Applied bank visa gold credit card is unsecured which basically means you don’t have to put down a deposit; however, you will find yourself in a better situation if you apply for a secured credit card.

The limit begins at five hundred dollars which reports to the three main credit bureaus, and if you make monthly payments on time then you will have the ability to increase your limit of an atrocious fee of one hundred dollars. The first year annual fee is around one hundred and twenty-five dollars, and once that fee is taken from your card once they issue it, you follow-up the next year with a fifteen dollar monthly fee which is also ridiculous in my opinion.

In order to get approved for the credit card, you have to give Applied Bank access to your checking account so they can make a small deposit like PayPal does when confirming a bank account; however, I trust PayPal with that sort of information–I DON’T trust Applied Bank because that means they have the ability to take out payments without notice because you gave ...

them that information on your application.

If you’re approved for the thieving Applied Bank unsecured visa gold credit card, they take about two hundred dollars in upfront fees which leaves you about three hundred dollars left. Having that much taken in fees is not good because they don’t give you any grace period which means it must be repaid when they send you the bill and not a day later.

Overall, the Applied bank unsecured visa gold credit card is the worst credit card I have seen in a LONG time. The fees are atrocious and you’re paying more

to keep the card instead of using it like a normal credit card. There are no grace periods and despite having a high limit of five hundred dollars, I would not opt for a limit increase because you will be only paying for it in the end. I know there are people who desperately want to improve their credit or want a credit card in general with a high credit limit, I highly suggest you run for the hills because this card will put you in the poor house faster than what you will do to yourself. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
