Great Wolf Lodge is a great place to visit with the whole family. There are so many fun things to see and do during your stay. Our family recently went to the Mason, Ohio location and we had a great time. The great thing about the resort is that it has activities for children of all ages, from toddlers all the way up to teenagers. Of course, the main attraction is the indoor water park. The water park has numerous slides, a lazy river, pools, a hot tub, sprinklers, and all kinds of water activities to keep the kids entertained all day long. Passes to the water park are included in your package when you stay at Great Wold Lodge. So, even though the rooms themselves are expensive,

you get unlimited access to the water park for the duration of your stay.

The complex also has other features for kids, like an arcade that has tons of games and prizes. My kids spent quite a bit of time in the arcade since they love video games and other games. The arcade is bright an lively, and fun for kids of all ages. The complex also has a feature that is called Magic-quest. How it works is that your child gets a wand (Costing about $25 and up) and they can use the wand throughout the complex to solve puzzles, unlock treasures, and other fun activities. The Magic-quest game is set up throughout the whole complex, so the kids can go from one place to another and unlock clues and ...

      • even compete against other people who are playing the game.

What’s nice about Great Wolf Lodge is that it is very family-friendly and a place that you can feel safe letting you kids run around and have fun. There are also restaurants in the complex, although everything at Great Wolf Lodge is expensive. When we went, we packed a couple bags of food to keep in our suite. That works out well, since each suite has a refrigerator and a microwave. The suites are roomy and comfortable. We stayed in a basic suite, but you can upgrade for an additional cost to suite with more features like bunk beds, a hot tub, or a loft. We found the basic family suite to be sufficient. There was one

king size bed, and then a couch that forded out into a bed for the kids, with a privacy wall in between.

The price of your stay varies greatly, and the price is much higher on weekends than on weekdays. The price really goes up on holidays as well. If you go to Great Wolf Lodge in the summer, you can enjoy the outdoor activities as well. But even going during the cold months is fun because there is plenty for the kids and adults to do. I would recommend Great Wolf Lodge to anyone who is looking for a fun family getaway. I recommend staying at least 2 nights to get the most enjoyment out of it. Also, check their web site for specials and deals before you book your stay.
