  • Because of my previous--and great--experience with my last Boston Market frozen dinner purchase, I decided to purchase another one from my local super Wal-Mart and this one was one of my favorites
  • The Boston Market rice in the casserole was perfectly cooked, and I love the extra amount of cheese it had
  • I liked how the broccoli had the texture of steamed vegetables, and I love the bits of chicken scattered about because I like my casserole to have a decent amount of tender chicken
  • I thought the rice was fluffy and well done the way rice is supposed to taste like, the broccoli tasted as if it was steamed which was good because I dislike soggy vegetables, and I love the generous amounts of cheese and tender chicken throughout the bowl
  • I thought it was really good and similar to another casserole favorite of mine

Because of my previous–and great–experience with my last Boston Market frozen dinner purchase, I decided to purchase another one from my local super Wal-Mart and this one was one of my favorites: Chicken, broccoli and cheese casserole. I have eaten plenty of Marie Callender’s’ chicken, broccoli and cheese casseroles; therefore, I was hoping that the one by Boston Market would pack the same flavorful punch.

Unlike the Marie Callender’s’ chicken, broccoli and cheese frozen dinner meals, this one was a little bigger and had more food.

Although I’m used to preparing the Marie Callender’s’ chicken, broccoli and cheese in the microwave, I wanted to see how it would taste being cooked in the oven. The oven directions were the same as the potatoes and turkey meal, except I had to leave it in the oven for thirty minutes instead of forty minutes.

After the timer had gone off, I took my dinner out of the oven and proceeded to stir the food to get all the cheese, chicken, rice, and broccoli mixed ...

      • in. I was actually surprised how similar the Marie Callender and Boston Market chicken and cheese casserole was. The Boston Market rice in the casserole was perfectly cooked, and I love the extra amount of cheese it had. It tasted wonderfully, and I’m not sure if I could decided between this and Marie Callender. I liked how the broccoli had the texture of steamed vegetables, and I love the bits of chicken scattered about because I like my casserole to have a decent amount of
        tender chicken.

Overall, I was pleasantly surprised that the Boston Market chicken, broccoli and cheese tasted as good as it did being cooked in the oven. I thought the rice was fluffy and well done the way rice is supposed to taste like, the broccoli tasted as if it was steamed which was good because I dislike soggy vegetables, and I love the generous amounts of cheese and tender chicken throughout the bowl. I thought it was really good and similar to another casserole favorite of mine.
