You know, i have pretty much the same problem with this game as what i have had with the Nancy Drew adventure games all these years… It’s all just a little bit too nice and fluffy. Sure i realize that they are targeting the game toward the female market, but the intriguing basis of the story lends itself to wider audience. It’s just a shame that a lot of people will skip over it because it’s just too nice and prim.

      The actual

object hunting is done pretty well and i would say is better than a lot of other games in the genre, and if you think finding the items isn’t enough of a challenge, each scene has a teddy bear smartly hidden for you to find. These little bears will keep you busy and it’s lucky that each one gives you a little reward or it just wouldn’t be worth looking for them.

The story and premise itself is something that you would expect ...

      • from the Nancy Drew franchise except it has maybe a little more fantasy than those games do, but it’s all told in such a nice a pretty way that it feels like it could have been the basis of a childrens book.

The other thing i will mention though is that the game just felt plain boring. Because it’s all so nice and tidy there is nothing here that surprises you or takes you away from the monotony for a while. This is

the biggest negative point i can give a game because hey, we all play games to have fun right, not be bored.

I am not happy with the value i got for my money with this game and i would advise most of you to skip it and try something else. Maybe it’s a good buy if you have any girls between say seven and fifteen in the house that play casual PC games, for everybody else I’ll warn you that it’s pretty hard to like.
