Created by Games Workshop, Warhammer universe is one of the oldest fantasy universes. At first it was a simple table game, but over time expanded to large manufacturing companies have obtained the license for toys, toys that created this exquisite universe. The toys were followed by the emergence of computer games, and finally, my prayers were answered and the first animated movie based on this universe appeared.

We are in the forty-one millennium in the grim darkness

of the future is just war. The king of mankind bears a constant struggle to protect humanity from the horrors of space.

At the edge of empire, aliens and demons lurk and plot, Chaos daemons enters our reality. In their way are just mighty Space Marines, they are more than ordinary mortals, they are from steel and destructive.

They are champions of humanity. But the biggest of them are Ultramarines.

This is a brief introduction that gives ...

      • a movie in the first 5 minutes for those who have never heard of this universe. The script is signed by Dan Abnett, who has written over 25 books based on the Warhammer universe, even if the story does not seem outstanding I can say that the end surprised me and I did not managed to anticipate it.

As I said, the film is an animation, but one with a relatively small budget. Thus, the animation quality

is not something unseen, but attention to detail is excellent.

Armor, weapons and vehicles look very good. The environment is not as rich in detail, but there are details that have been carefully chosen.

Among the movie you will find two personalities that will seem familiar. That’s because they are stereotypes.

Proteus is the type of novice eager to assert himself and Severus is the wise old type. If you are like me a fan of the universe then you have to see this animation.
