  • I sprayed it as far back as possible trying to avoid getting it in my mouth, but it still spread throughout my entire mouth
  • I don't like waiting around for results and don't have to do that with this chloraseptic spray
  • Considering that my sore throat was only mild and it still did not take away all of the pain, I do not think this is the best product to use for severe throat pain
  • I would recommend it, and could see myself using it again

Sprays have not always worked great for me, but they can take a lot of the pain out of a sore throat. When I find myself suffering from a sore or dry throat that is not bad, sprays are usually sufficient. I was suffereing from a bit of a sore throat on this ocassion that was not the most painful but it was a little uncomfortable. The pain was a bit of a throbbing pain accompanied by a scratchy feeling in my throat. My throat also seemed to always feel dry, no matter how much I would drink. I purchased the Target brand Chloraseptic Menthol Sore Throat Spray. I

could not help but buy it because it was very inexpensive costing less than three dollars. The bottle was 6 ounces, which can last for quite some time. The bottle was plastic and had a small spray nozzle that was a little stiff. The nozzle was kind of frail and can break easily if dropped. The top was small and snaps perfectly over th nozzle to protect it from germs.

I sprayed some of this green chloraseptic spray into my mouth toward the back. I sprayed it as far back as possible trying to avoid getting it in my mouth, but it still spread throughout my entire mouth. I felt ...

      • the numbing sensation from the sides of my mouth to the back of my throat. The menthol flavor was strong and overbearing, but it did not last for too long. It did leave my mouth feeling a little cool after and made drinking feel weird. I would not suggest eating or drinking anything for at least half an hour after application. This allows some time for your mouth to start feeling normal again. After spraying it, my throat pain started to subside. The throbbing had diminished by about 50 percent and I felt like I could swallow much better. The pain was relieved for about two hours before I
felt like I had to spray a couple of more squirts.

I feel like this spray works good becasue it hits the spot quickly. I don’t like waiting around for results and don’t have to do that with this chloraseptic spray. I also like that this spray kind of numbs the pain away and i do not have to take a pain killer to stop the pain. Considering that my sore throat was only mild and it still did not take away all of the pain, I do not think this is the best product to use for severe throat pain. I would recommend it, and could see myself using it again.
