The 2008 film “The Dark Knight”, starring a terrific Christian Bale as Batman, and the late Heath Ledger as the Joker, was even better than the first movie, “Batman Begins”. When in comparison, I feel that “The Dark Knight” has so much more power behind it’s actors, even more use of incredible gadgets, and a story line that so much more moving than the original “Batman Begins”.

The only one who knows the identity of Batman is Bruce Wayne’s

crush, Rachel (a DA for the city), Alfred (the butler who has worked for the Wayne’s since Bruce was a child) and Mr. Fox, (who works for Bruce’s company). It is apparent that it is a hard life to follow, but it’s really moving how all of these people help Bruce out in his times of regret for ever putting on the suit and bringing harm to the lives of Gotham citizens.

Posers as Batman come out of ...

      • the woodwork and try to go after the criminals of the city, though having to be saved by Batman anyway. And the criminals attract a very strange and crazed thief, the Joker. He is very clever, and I can’t help but think while watching the film that every move he made was brilliant, even though he was the bad guy. He certainly stirs up Gotham city, and uses emotions it seems to get to people, trying to corrupt
the most brave and heroic figures of the city to prove that good can easily be swayed. He succeeds in the city’s only hope, Harvey Dent, who loses it after the death of Rachel who he planned to marry.

The emotion and power behind the characters and the actors who played them were phenomenal, and this film well surpassed the first one when it comes to graphics, gadgets, and pure suspense and emotion behind what was being shown on screen.
