  • At the time i had enjoyed the first Resident Evil game so this felt like a natural progression
  • It's definitely not as good as Silent Hill 2 or Silent Hill 3, both of which i hold in very high regard as classics of their eras
  • I think all up it took me about forty five hours to complete the game and get all of the achievements (yes i'm an achievement junkie)and considering what i paid for it i feel this is pretty good value for money
  • I wouldn't really recommend buying this game for your kids as the depicted violence does get quite graphic, especially when fighting the zombie nurses, but for anyone that's into thriller movies, horror stories or just likes getting a good fright, turn the lights down low, turn the stereo up and envelope your senses in a fantastic psychological survival horror game

I have been a big fan of the Silent Hill series of survival horror video games since the first one was released on the Sony Playstation. At the time i had enjoyed the first Resident Evil game so this felt like a natural progression.

Homecoming is the latest one in the series and the first one released in the modern generation of consoles and as soon as it came out i knew i had to have it.

      It’s

definitely not as good as Silent Hill 2 or Silent Hill 3, both of which i hold in very high regard as classics of their eras. It is still pretty good though and i definitely enjoyed the time i spent with it. I think all up it took me about forty five hours to complete the game and get all of the achievements (yes i’m an achievement junkie)and considering what i paid for it i feel this is ...

      • pretty good value for money. A lot of games these days can be finished in under ten hours and are created mainly for online multi player purposes, so it was nice to settle in with a game that was obviously tailored toward the single player campaign.

I play all of these sorts of games with the lights off and the stereo speakers up loud and facing me and i can tell you that there was more than one

time during my time with this game where my heart started racing a little bit and i felt a little uneasy.

I wouldn’t really recommend buying this game for your kids as the depicted violence does get quite graphic, especially when fighting the zombie nurses, but for anyone that’s into thriller movies, horror stories or just likes getting a good fright, turn the lights down low, turn the stereo up and envelope your senses in a fantastic psychological survival horror game.
