  • I think these cookies are a good alternative to Oreos (which I happen to love also), but only because they seem much lighter and less sugary than Oreos
  • If you like the combination of crispy wafer-like cookies with chocolate and mint, then I would recommend these cookies to you

I confess that I have not eaten these cookies in years. But I remember when a friend offered one to me many years ago, and they were delicious! This is an oblong cookie that is in the form of a sandwich. (Think of an Oreo cookie.) In between the two oval cookies, there is a thin layer of chocolate and a thin layer of mint. When you bite into this cookie, it is crispy and you get a light and tasty combination

      of chocolate and mint.

One great thing about this cookie is that, overall, it is very light. The mint inside is not thick and gooey, and neither is the chocolate. That makes me feel less guilty about eating this as a dessert. You get a minimal amount of chocolate in this cookie, but it is just enough to satisfy the craving for something sweet. The cookie also seems light, almost like a wafer but not exactly. It looks and tastes like a classy ...

      • cookie that you might want to serve if you were hosting a dinner party.

But even though these cookies have a light taste and texture, I wouldn’t eat too many of them in one sitting. The good news is that they contain nonfat milk, but you may want to be aware that they also contain whole eggs. So you may want to eat just one or two of them at a time, in case you are concerned about your cholesterol intake. I think

these cookies are a good alternative to Oreos (which I happen to love also), but only because they seem much lighter and less sugary than Oreos. The Wegman’s supermarket near my home carries these Pepperidge Farm Milano Mint cookies for $2.99, and the bag is 7 ounces. I think I would like to start eating these again. It has been so long! If you like the combination of crispy wafer-like cookies with chocolate and mint, then I would recommend these cookies to you.
