Everyone who knows me can relate me as a spa and beauty salon fanatic. I am a big fan of pampering myself with monthly visit to the spa for my regular massage and facials. I also love the bath that I get from beauty salon and spa thus I always try to maximize the experience by buying tons of bathing product so I could bring the spa experience back home. With aromatherapy, tea candle around my bathroom and my bath tub I am all set for my home spa experience. I have been a big fan of Lush bathing product ever since my first introduction to them by my cousin. When I saw Happy soap in Lush online store I know I had to get them. They are so

beautiful in the shades of orange and green combination.

I was having the impression that that this soap would create a great home spa experience with its bold color combination. I love that they are made from natural ingredients like Orange oil, Tangerine oil and Gardenia extracts. This could be my worst experience by far from Lush product. Well I spent $5 for an orange colored soap that cleans like normal soap. When I get the package from my online order, I was truly excited and thus when I open the package and saw an orange chunk of soap that has no trace of green on them I felt ripped off. I was expecting the soap to look exactly like picture on the Lush website but boy I was ...

      • so wrong.

The citrus scent from the soap is faintly there and I have to hold the soap near my nose to smell them. Unlike other Lush product, this one is really just a normal soap which is camouflaged in orange shade. Like all soap, Lush ones are no different when it comes in to contact with water it will melt. Thus I always cut them in to four pieces hoping I would get at least three wash out of each piece. I am again disappointed at the rate this soap melts on my body. I did not rinse them under my shower but just merely running them across my drench body and I swear they work like magic soap. It’s now you see; now you don’t with this

        soap.

I do love the orange color streaks I have on my skin when I use this soap. They are easily rinse off and did not leave any stain on my skin. However, the orangey scent is just so light; I did not really smell them unless I made an attempt to sniff really hard. My skin did feel clean after the bath however they are not moisturized. I have to run lotion on them and I was slightly curious as I thought the essential oil in the soap should do some moisturizing effect on my skin. I did not feel happy when I use this bar and this is really a disappointment. I think I would love this soap more if the citrus scent is a tad stronger.
