  • This is based on preference but since the touchscreen isn't the best, it can be annoying to type
  • I wouldn't recommend this phone to anyone, especially since there are newer ones always coming out but if you need a new phone that is cheaper for touchscreen and aren't planning on apps or anything then this phone will definitely due the job it's intended for

The Samsung Behold from T-Mobile was the first real, all touchscreen device that came out for T-Mobile (as far as my knowledge knows). My contract ended so I was ready to get a new one. Everyone around me was talking about there iPhones and what not, so I felt left out. Well, I hopped on board and decided on this phone; it was the best in store at the time of purchase anyway.

The phone is not bad, it functions like a

phone and does what it is supposed to do, but it isn’t very good either. At best, it is a mediocre phone by T-Mobile just to get them into the touchscreen game.

First thing you notice after taking it out of the box is the screen sensitivity. It may be a software thing but instead of flicking your finger up to scroll and make it slide (like iPhone) you need to press down pretty hard on the screen and still the ...

      • slide doesn’t work well at all. It isn’t fair to compare it to iPhone either but that is the first example I could think of that everyone knows.

The second annoying thing is that fact that it doesn’t have a QWERTY keyboard, and actually doesn’t have any for that matter. This is based on preference but since the touchscreen isn’t the best, it can be annoying to type. It does have a calibration you can do but that is more for

point contact (clicking) and still doesn’t work very good.

As a phone, this device is just fine. You can make calls, text, email, etc.

        Some would even say it’s a smart-phone. At best though, it’s a not-so-smart phone.

I wouldn’t recommend this phone to anyone, especially since there are newer ones always coming out but if you need a new phone that is cheaper for touchscreen and aren’t planning on apps or anything then this phone will definitely due the job it’s intended for.
