  • There is a button that also allows you to change to a Bass Booster without stereo sound, then stereo sound without Bass Booster, and then finally with both, which is quite amazing
  • The only bad things I could think of this product are the high cost, I got mine for about $130 at Best Buy, also there is a need to replace batteries for the headset which are 2 Triple A's and then finally after long, long hours of playing your ears might start to feel a little odd but it only requires a few minutes of rest from the headset and then you're all good

The Turtle Beach Ear Force X31 is a gaming headset for the XBox 360. Normally you use these kind of headsets to help with shooting games because due to the surround sound effect you can hear people shooting even if they have a silencer/supressor on or even the enemies footsteps so you know their location. However this headset that I got about a month and a half ago is so much better than just that.

The headset contains the entire game’s sound instead of hearing it from the speakers of your television and comfortably sits over your ears. The headset also acts like a regular XBox 360 headset and allows you to chat to other players.

The headset is wireless based on the receiving of the game sound but you have to plug it in the controller to be able to chat to other players. The headset is quite lightweight as ...

      • well so it doesn’t wear down on your head. There are also a few side controllers/buttons on the headset itself incase you would like to change a feature such as the game volume. There is a button that also allows you to change to a Bass Booster without stereo sound, then stereo sound without Bass Booster, and then finally with both, which is quite amazing.

The Ear Force X31s’ are a great product, deserving a 9 out of 10.
