  • The combat is very boring and unintuitive and the absolute nadir of the whole thing is the many escort missions where you have to protect the midget sidekick, voiced by Ted Raimi from the undead while he casts a spell and then rinse and repeat about 5 times for each mission

First, I’ll start with the story.

Oh, who cares? You’re not considering this game because of the story or the game play or the cardboard cut out love interest. Like me, you’re interested because it’s got the words “EVIL DEAD” on the box. Seriously, I will probably buy just about anything if it is either endorsed by Bruce Campbell or has the words “Evil Dead” printed on it. For those of you who genuinely want to

know anyway, the story can basically be summed up like this, “Undead walk the Earth, kill they ass.”. Yes, Bruce Campbell and Ted Raimi do voice acting for this game, and as usual, they do a great job. The interactions between their two characters are mildly entertaining, I just don’t think they are worth sitting through the mind numbing repetitiveness of the game play for.

      • the whole thing is the many escort missions where you have to protect the midget sidekick, voiced by Ted Raimi from the undead while he casts a spell and then rinse and repeat about 5 times for each mission. This game is incredibly boring and the only reason I finished it was because I had nothing else to do.

One last thing. This game has bugs crawling out of every orifice too. I played the PC

version and I couldn’t even get past the menu without having to troubleshoot a bug whereby the game would not register my keyboard.

I would not recommend this game. If you’re that interested, even after all that has been said here because you’re just THAT into Bruce Campbell, just check out the cutscenes and behind the scenes stuff on Youtube or something. Then again, you’d probably have more fun cuddling your Bruce Campbell love pillow that you hand made.
