  • However he is often known for his stage presence which consists of jumping, doing insane kicks from his experience in kung fu, and generally connecting with the audience with funny stage antics
  • I like Van Halen with Dave better, but he did much better with his solo band
  • His stage performance was much better but it pretty much all came to an end later in the 90s when he started doing boring acoustic stuff and that really pointless tour with the second Van Halen vocalist Sammy Hagar
  • The tour wasn't the best, but it was pretty good and the fans really wanted it to happen
  • In my opinion, I think he is also very eccentric, but when he wants to be he's a knowledgeable singer who also can play the acoustic guitar well in hits like Ice Cream Man and Could this Be Magic

David lee Roth from the band Van Halen is a singer and has been a pioneer of the hard rock scene from the late 70’s and 80’s. In Van Halen, he was the man behind those growls, and scream with his very big vocal range. Although he was good in the studio, his excessive use of drugs and alcohol made his perform incredibly bad during live shows. Often he would forget lyrics or he

would stumble on lyrics. He could sing the notes, but they just didn’t sound good live.

About a couple years ago David reunited with all the original members of Van Halen except for Michael Anthony who was replaced by Eddie Van Halen’s son. The tour wasn’t the best, but it was pretty good and the fans really wanted it to

happen. In person Dave is a pretty next guy. In my opinion, I think he is also very eccentric, but when he wants to be he’s a knowledgeable singer who also can play the acoustic guitar well in hits like Ice Cream Man and Could this Be Magic?. If you want to hear this guy’s massive range then check out the first six Van Halen albums and some live material depending how intoxicated he was that night.
