  • I really like that the Blackberry 8220 is a flip phone which prevents buttons from being pressed but after using this device for some time I have noticed some things about this device that I didn't like
  • One of the biggest issues that I found with this phone is that it freezes up a lot and the only way to get the phone to start back working again is by taking out the battery and restarting it
  • This issue has happened multiple times while I am either on a phone call or in the process of sending a text message and it completely disconnects
  • In my opinion this device also has horrible battery usage
  • My experience with the Blackberry 8220 was not good and I would not recommend this device to anyone because overall I believe that it is a horrible phone

I really like that the Blackberry 8220 is a flip phone which prevents buttons from being pressed but after using this device for some time I have noticed some things about this device that I didn’t like. One of the biggest issues that I found with this phone is that it freezes up a lot and the only way to get the phone to start back

working again is by taking out the battery and restarting it.

This has happened on several occassions and I have found this to be very inconvenient.

This issue has happened multiple times while I am either on a phone call or in the process of sending a text message and it completely disconnects.

After using the Blackberry 8220 I have also had many problems out of the trackball.

For some reason the trackball would just completely stop working for no reason at all and there was no dirt or debris inside the trackball.

In my opinion this device also has horrible battery usage.

Whenever I fully charge the battery if I get on a call for about 30 minutes that battery would need to be charged again.

Blackberry 8220 has also had signal problems which causes the device to lose signal by itself even when I am in a strong signal area.

I have also had problems with the Blackberry 8220 randomly deleting my text messages and pictures without any reason at all.

After contacting customer service I found out that this was because there wasn’t enough space on the device to

store the items so it would just delete them by itself.

I don’t know why the device was designed to delete things without any type of notification so I believe that this is a big problem for this device.

My experience with the Blackberry 8220 was not good and I would not recommend this device to anyone because overall I believe that it is a horrible phone.
